Dirler-Cadé
The Dirler-Cadé wine estate, nestled in the picturesque village of Bergholtz in Alsace, France, boasts a rich history dating back to 1871 when Jean Dirler founded the winery. Over the years, the estate has been passed down through five generations of the Dirler family, with each generation contributing to its legacy.
In 1998, Jean married Ludivine Hell-Cadé, and the estate expanded by incorporating her family’s vineyards, leading to the adoption of the name Dirler-Cadé. The estate is renowned for its commitment to biodynamic farming since 1998, ensuring that their wines reflect the unique terroir of Alsace. Dirler-Cadé is also celebrated for its pioneering role in the production of sparkling wines in the 19th century and has recently revived this tradition with their Crémant d’Alsace
