Domaine de Montcy
Domaine de Montcy is a relatively young wine estate located in the Cheverny appellation of the Loire Valley, France. The estate was founded by Laura Semeria, an Italian-born entrepreneur with a background in food science and multinational food companies. She and her French husband, Léonard, settled near the Loire River and purchased the estate in the early 2000s.
The estate focuses on sustainable and organic viticulture, with all vineyards certified organic since 2012 and biodynamic since 2015. The winemaker, Vincent Bonnal, advocates for minimal intervention in both the vineyard and the winemaking process. The estate produces a range of wines, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, and Gamay
