Muscat / Moscato represents a very large family of vines that are thought to be the oldest in the world and were well known to the Greeks and Romans, having most probably originated in the Middle East. They make wines that range from dry table wine to intensely sweet dessert wine and sparkling wines.
Perfume of rose petals and orange blossom with the flavour of fresh, juicy green grapes. Can also display notes of peach, pear and apricot, as well as fresh herbs.
