Domaine Leduc Frouin Wine Producer at Penventon Hotel

Domaine Leduc Frouin

Domaine Leduc Frouin, established in 1873, is a distinguished wine producer located in the charming village of Martigné-Briand in the Haut-Layon region of Anjou, France. Over the years, the estate has been meticulously managed by four generations of the Leduc family.

Today, Antoine Leduc, the fourth-generation winemaker, and his sister Nathalie continue to uphold the family legacy. Antoine, who returned to the estate in 1993 after completing his oenology studies in Burgundy and Bordeaux, combines traditional methods with modern techniques to produce exceptional wines.

The vineyard spans 30 hectares and boasts diverse terroirs, including falun, shale, and clay, allowing for the production of unique and expressive wines. Domaine Leduc Frouin is celebrated for its Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grolleau wines, each reflecting the essence of the Loire Valley
